Mages Tale

On Mages Tale I served as Art Director on the project though we had the unusual constraint that all of its assets were also to be used on Bard’s Tale IV so I collaborated closely with that projects AD to make sure Mage’s Tale maintained consistency with both projects needs.  I managed an art team split between two offices (Los Angeles and New Orleans) along with our external outsourcing partners.

In addition to management I created hands on work in a wide range of areas including character concepts and models, vfx, and lighting. Lastly I was responsible for all art performance optimization. The final release was able to deliver a steady 90fps while rendering dual views on a Nvidia 9800GT.
